Psychodiagnostic tools

About the Edition

The psychodiagnostic tools created by experts from the Department of Psychology at Palacký University are primarily intended for professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and others. The creators' goal is to enrich the range of psychodiagnostic methods available in the Czech Republic and abroad with high-quality methods based on extensive research data sets. The methods are suitable for diagnosing many psychological phenomena, such as depression, self-perception, aggression, addiction to digital games, and others, and can be used both in psychodiagnostic practice (e.g., in clinical or counseling settings) and for research purposes. The methods meet the strict methodological requirements imposed on this type of psychodiagnostic tool and are based on a robust theoretical foundation. In most cases, the presented psychodiagnostic tools include a test manual (theoretical background, psychometric analyses, scale description, administration and evaluation, and, last but not least, percentile and sten norms), an evaluation template, and stimulus material.
